Serving Clients in Maryland, Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama and Louisiana
I am a mother of three and proud military spouse. After moving four times in ten years, I knew there had to be a way to continue to represent clients where I was licensed (Louisiana, Maryland and Oklahoma) regardless of where the Navy may take us. This is why I developed a web-based practice in addition to a local practice in St. Mary's County, Maryland. As a working mother, I understand how valuable your time is and how life often gets in the way of our best intentions. But I have learned first hand, through years in the military, how we must prepare for the unexpected in order to have the peace of mind that our families will be provided for no matter what the future holds.
Obtaining my services allows you to have the flexibility to develop your estate plan at your convenience. You will pay only for the services rendered- not gas to a from the office or a babysitter so that you can meet with an attorney. For local clients, I meet with you are your home at a time convenient for you. Too many families, especially military families, have failed to take the steps to ensure their estate passes as they would desire or appoint whom they would want to serve as guardian of their children in the event of their untimely death. All because time or money constraints have prevented them from taking the first step. Through my firm, this process can be both affordable and painless, therefore, there are no excuses.
As far as my experience, I graduated from Tulane Law School in 2004 and began practicing at a New Orleans law firm. Following Hurricane Katrina, I relocated to Florida for a brief time before the Navy stationed us to Oklahoma, but this of course would not be our last move. Although I have experience in several practice areas, I found I could best use my law degree by helping people obtain the peace of mind that their family and loved ones will be provided for no matter what the future holds. Thus, I began to focus my practice on probates, guardianships and estate planning. By handling probates and guardianships, I gained first-hand knowledge of the perils of failing to properly plan for one's incapacitation or death and the tole it takes on those who care about them. Finally, I have been working on obtaining my LLM from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in Estate Planning so that I may better address all of my client's estate planning needs. I have recently partnered with local counsel in order to be able to provide estate planning services to clients in Florida and Alabama as well as Maryland, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Let me take the skills and knowledge I have gained through my years of practice and education to help you provide for your family.
